About this portfolio

This is a curated selection to showcase some highlights of a 20 year career as a software developer with nearly 15 years experience as a team-lead / senior engineer. I've worked on a diverse set of projects ranging from React front ends to API's across various frameworks (node, Rails, Spring, Laravel, Django) and especially love a cloud-native approach. On-prem / bare-metal is also fine though where needed. : )
Most recently I've been working with AI frontier models (Opus, GPT, Gemini) both for productivity and creating agentic workflows.

I am a big proponent for remote-first work. I started my professional career in enterprise support and initiated / piloted a telecommute program for my team in 2007. Productivity isn't just at the office - I've successfully launched features and projects on the west coast USA from an Airbnb kitchen in Barcelona or during a layover at an airport. Quality work can be done everywhere.
